As a policy maker I want to evaluate the desicion making in adding benches in a central square of Athens and have an overview of the shadow coverage at different seasons in Athens.

APPROACH
I want to overview the location of trees and density of shade from trees and buildings in Klauthmonos square in Athens in order to plan the placement of benches or relevant policies.
EXPECTED OUTCOME
Optimized monitoring of shadow coverage and exploitation of shady places.

Better visualization
In order to better see the Square in the upper menu “Contect” select “OpenStreetmap colored”.
Experiment with shadow
At the right side of to the navigation wheel, you find a slider with a small wrench icon underneath, click this icon.
An extra window appears. Here you can select the time of the day and the day of the year for which you want to see a shadow impact simulation by moving the sliders.
In order to experiment select a date during the summer when sunshine and temperatures are high in Greece.
